A sumptuous blend of premium vanilla beans, luscious caramel and decadent whipped cream.
I really love the packaging for these! It’s subtle, classy, and perfect for the simple Fresh Picked look! The black and gray gingham is a really sharp background to play the colors off of. The little bit of pine, along with the bow, do give it a nice little holiday touch. Plus the metallic gold trim gives a very classy, finished look.
Alright, so this is what Aspen Caramel Woods was supposed to smell like! It’s very sweet with a sharp caramel note. There is not a hint of floral anywhere in it… It’s pure gourmand. Now, I do have to say… I had somewhat hoped there might be a little bit of coffee note in this, and there really isn’t. In the absence of that, my second hope was that it would be Dreamy Vanilla Woods all over again. Sadly it was not. However, it is still a lovely fragrance. It does, in fact, smell very fresh. While it’s very sweet, it also seems natural. I definitely will be reaching for it come August next year, when the “Fall” bug gives me a bite! Actually, I think next year I’ll be in more danger of the love bug, with my wedding coming up!
This is where this one falters a little. It doesn’t seem to have much lasting power at all. On one hand, that’s okay… This is more of a scent I wear at home for me… On days when I’m staying in and baking, crafting, cleaning, etc. Now if it came in a spray then it might be better…
Overall I am pleased with this in body care form… I sadly did not care for the candle form, as it was far too light. Also, please tell me why this did not come in the Hard Working Hand and Body Cream??? It is winter, B&BW! Our skin is in more danger of being dry, and we need the intense moisturizers!
